About NutriCompare
NutriCompare is an independent reference site in the food and nutrition data space. Side-by-side nutrition facts for everyday foods, straight from USDA data.
What we do
We turn the United States Department of Agriculture's FoodData Central database into clean, comparable pages. NutriCompare covers 39 common foods with full per-100 g nutrient tables, and 24 side-by-side comparisons of the food pairs people search for most — rice vs quinoa, chicken vs beef, almonds vs peanuts, sweet potato vs potato and more.
How we work
Every page is generated from structured USDA data, computed transparently, and attributed to the exact source record. We do not estimate or interpolate values; foods without real data are left out. See our methodology for sources, what we record and known limitations.
Important
NutriCompare provides general information only. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice. For guidance tailored to you, consult a registered dietitian or qualified health professional. See our disclaimer.
